Annual Honesty

Inspired by the old painters, photographer Kieke Kurstjens (WDKA) revives herbs or weeds which we previously overlooked. Her still lifes are more than just studies of wild nature; they are monuments of mindfulness, tranquillity, and wonder. The fruit of a small, personal act of resistance to the contemporary fixation on growth, functionality, and the individual.
